Northern Offshore Services (N-O-S) have today announced the opening of a new office in Hamburg, Germany on 1st of may, 2018. In addition to the new office N-O-S is hiring Thies Meijster as the new sales manager for Germany.
As a step towards global presence N-O-S started a branch office in the UK in 2017 and now Germany. The office is located at the Hamburg Business Center on Poststrasse 33 and will be a natural meeting point for closer collaboration with the customers and the industry. The expansion also means N-O-S will start a German company.
Rasmus Johansson, CEO of N-O-S said, “Germany today holds a strong position as one of the leaders in the offshore wind sector. The forecast predicts Germany as a key player in offshore wind during the next 5 year period. Therefore we are certain that N-O-S will benefit from having physical presence in Germany.”
The Hamburg office will be N-O-S’ fourth office in Europe together with the recently opened UK office in Lowestoft, the Danish office in Copenhagen and the Head Quarters in Gothenburg, Sweden.
“Germany is an important market for us and an important hub for offshore wind. By getting physical presence through an office and a German sales manager, we can be even more present to our customers,” said Fredrik Hallqvist, CCO of N-O-S.
Together with the new office, N-O-S is hiring Thies Meijster, former broker within offshore wind, as Sales Manager focusing on Germany.
